Despite some folks wishing for failure in this venture, there are many, many more wishing, hoping and praying for success. Count me in that group.
I'll look at some of the reaction once we have a more solid idea of the results. So far, from what I can tell, we've seen scattered suicide bombers and some low Sunni turn-out (both expected) but over-all, it seems something like 70% voter turnout, which is better than we have in our own elections. Not bad, Iraq. Not bad at all. That is all.
