After having some difficulty getting into the site this morning, I can now post my personal poll of the top 25 teams after this rather volatile week of college football. Without further ado:
1. Oklahoma (4-0)
2. Miami (4-0)
3. Ohio State (5-0)
4. Virginia Tech (4-0)
5. Florida State (5-0)
6. LSU (5-0)
7. Tennessee (4-0)
8. Arkansas (4-0)
9. Nebraska (4-0)
10. Michigan (4-1)
11. Georgia (3-1)
12. Texas (3-1)
13. USC (3-1)
14. Kansas State (4-1)
15. Pittsburgh (3-1)
16. Washington (3-1)
17. TCU (4-0)
18. Northern Illinois (4-0)
19. Minnesota (5-0)
20. Washington State (4-1)
21. Oregon (4-1)
22. Purdue (3-1)
23. Iowa (4-1)
24. Air Force (5-0)
25. Florida (3-2)
Note - I really hate having Florida in the poll with 2 losses when Louisville probably deserves to be there with a 4-0 record, but as Florida is 25th in both the AP and Coaches/ESPN poll and did not lose yesterday, I cannot see taking them out.
What a wild day - hell, what a wild season so far. I did not think the national champion would be an undeafeted team this year and it looks like things are turning out just as I expected. And what's with the overtime games yesterday? At least one of them turned out like I wanted - the SEC just wouldn't cooperate. Certainly makes for an exciting day and I look forward to more as the season progresses. That is all.
